Fightstore Pro at Ultimate Impact 12, Saturday 28th June

Ultimate Impact 12 Fightstore Pro is very happy to present to you this Saturday's upcoming Ultimate Impact 12 event. I will be in attendance live, where I will be meeting the owner and the fighters ; giving you an up close look at this fantastic upcoming promotion. This Saturday the 28th there are 15 fights ranging from a K1 Title and 2 MMA titles and one hell of a lot too look forward too. Ultimate Impact was created in 2009, but with their first event happening in 2010 originally arranged by well established coach Paul Sutherland. It became an ideal platform for up and coming British based talent to try their metal in a proffessional environment. April 11th 2010 was the first event held at Liquid night club in Gloucester. Since then the event has gone from strength to strength, especailly after partnering with Dan Richards. The first event was such a hit, that there was a second event organised within 4 months from the first, and another within a further 3 months. Gaining steam and recognition Ultimate Impact had acquired talented well known Brit fighters like Matt Ewin. August 2011 was the start of an epic trilogy of fights between Ben Constantine and Lee Caers, which all started at this event Ultimate Impact 6. This was a fantastically brutal and entertaining fight and I highly suggest anyone to search out the video and watch it. Constantine won the first fight via decision, however it was obvious that it wouldn't be the last time these two met. Following that event, the rematch was immediately set up for Ultimate Impact 7, and the fight was highly regarded as one the best fights in MMA in general for 2012. Caers avenged the earlier loss and won via Rear Naked Choke mid way through the 3rd round. Again, we all knew it wouldn't be the last time these warriors would meet. Also at the time witnessed the birth of Ultimate Impact Kickboxing further branching out U.Is diversity into the fight scene. Now came the finale to the much anticipated trilogy ending between Caers and Constantine, it was at this time that it was decided that the winner would be crowned the Ultimate Impact first champion. Over the following years the promotion just went from strength the strength showcasing more and more talent. Ultimate Impact has built the foundation for countless big name fighters you see growing through the scene and will always be a promotion that you want to look out for. Wins at ultimate impact have enabled Lee Caers, Piotr Patinski, Mario Saeed and James Gilbert to move onto promotions such as Cage Warriors and Bamma. Without a doubt they're already breeding the next Jimi Manuwa, the next Brad Pickett, the next Ross Pearson. There is a lot of talent and one hell of a lot of quality fights for your money, I would strongly suggest making the travel from wherever you are to ensure you never miss out on this fantastic promotions events, I can guarantee it will be worth your while. Ultimate Impact 12 will feature a Lightweight title match between Wayne Drake (2-1) and Terry Doyle (2-0) as well as a welterweight title match between Adam, Boussif(4-2) and defending champion Phil Wells. The K-1 flyweight title will be on the line in a fight between Laura Handy and Cheryl Flynn, which I guarantee will be fireworks from the get go. I will be there myself, look out for the guy with the spikey hair and MMA UK t-shirt, I will be providing up close coverage, interviews and play by plays on the event, if you see me feel free to say hello. I'm massively fired up for this event and after the dissapointing of the world cup, I would love the British people to focus on athletes who will fight their heart out for you entertainment. Nobody could ever say a mixed martial artist doesn't deserve their wages.

Be there this Saturday to guarantee yourself a fantastic evening!
